Being on a keto diet can be very monotonous and dull for vegetarians (Read as Indian Vegetarians). A vegetarian diet does not offer much options that are carbohydrate free/low unlike non vegetarian foods like eggs, meat, fish etc. Here is a curry (Indian Cuisine) made from full cream to make eating more satisfying and contenting for those on veg keto diet. One can have it along with keto pancake / bread or enjoy with rajgira/ragi chappatti (Indian Flat Bread made from amaranth grain)

The Keto diet is the latest in-thing. It is being promoted by many as a high protein diet like the debunked Atkins diet. Or as a complete elimination of the carbohydrates. In their eagerness to lose weight and to lose it fast many are falling for the online or ready made so-called Keto diets. The standard Keto diet however is actually a combination of all the three – the carbohydrates, the proteins and the fats, having their percent content in the diet in the ascending order.

We all talk a lot about diet, food, hunger and ful We all talk a lot about diet, food, hunger and fullness scale. 
But what I primarily discuss with my clients is about the types of hunger and how they should learn to distinguish between them. 
Physical hunger stems from the need for energy. We all know of it as an empty or gnawing sensation in the stomach. Fatigue, anxiety, headache and /or weakness could be an indicator of physical hunger. The only way to manage it, is to eat.
The other type of hunger is the psychological hunger which is felt outside of the stomach. Sometimes it might be difficult to distinguish between physical and psychological hunger but a quick way to tell it is that it comes in intense and is usually a craving for a specific type of food or taste or maybe flavour. 
Eating is an appropriate response to satisfy psychological hunger. But eating too much can sabotage your weight loss efforts or even make you unhealthy specially if it is high calorie - sweet and / or fatty foods.
