One can have it along with keto pancake / bread or enjoy with rajgira/ragi chappatti (Indian Flat Bread made from amaranth grain)

The Ketogenic diet also called as the Keto diet for short has many synonyms, like low carb diet, Low carb High Fat diet or High Fat diet. It is unlike the high protein diets which concentrate on high protein intake as low carbs and moderate fats. The Keto diet majorly comprises of fat, as high as 70%of the total calorie requirement with the carb content restricted to not more 20 gms per day. Being on a keto diet can be very monotonous and dull for vegetarians (Read as Indian Vegetarians). Here’s a curry (Indian Cuisine) made from full cream (removed from boiled milk) providing less 1 gm of carbohydrate per serving, 120 Kcals and 12 gms of fat

Ingredients

Full cream – 20 grams

Onion, diced – 35 grams

Green chilli, diced – 1

Turmeric powder – a pinch

red chilli powder – a pinch

Garam masala (ground Indian Spices), salt as per taste

Oil, for cooking – 2 teaspoons

Method 

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and green chillies. Sauté for few seconds till the onion becomes translucent.

Add salt, red chili powder, ground spices and turmeric powder. Cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.

Add the cream and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Do not overcook as the cream starts to release ghee. 

Serve with keto pancake / bread or rajgira/ragi chappatti (Indian Flat Bread made from amaranth grain).
